  • Backend APIs & system architecture

    Modular REST APIs with authentication, relational data modelling, versioned migrations and clean separation between API requests, workers and persistence.

  • Payments & financial workflows

    M-Pesa and Stripe integrations, payroll statutory deductions, salary advances, salary disbursement, customer credit tracking and reconciliation.

  • Event-driven & asynchronous processing

    Redis and Celery workers handling notifications, invoice transmission and heavy reporting outside the request path, with retries and delivery tracking.

  • Production infrastructure & support

    Docker Compose deployments on Ubuntu with Nginx or Caddy, HTTPS, persistent storage and backups — plus monitoring, health checks, structured logging and production debugging.

    ERPNext and Frappe configuration, business process reengineering and approval workflows — delivered in Agile teams with code reviews and stakeholder collaboration.
